Iwan Simonis cloth uses a worsted construction with a high wool content that provides a smooth, precise and even playing surface.
Simonis was the first company to offer worsted cloth for billiard tables.
Worsted construction means that there are no short fibers that can build up on the cloth to form “pills” or fuzz-balls that have to be removed from the playfield in order to allow the ball to roll without hindrance.
